We are happy to welcome Pastor Evan Garst to Whitby Free Methodist. Our Lead Pastor, Pastor Dale Harris will be taking a 3 month educational sabbatical this fall, and Pastor Evan will be coming to Whitby FMC to provide interim pastoral ministry while he is away. Pastor Dale's sabbatical will be from September 29 - January 4, and Pastor Evan will be starting as our interim pastor on September 29. 

We are thankful to be able to offer another Grief Share group this fall. Grief Share is a support group for those who are on the journey of grief after losing a loved one. It runs for 13 weeks and offers community, support, and practical ideas for people to help people understand and navigate their grief. Our Grief Share group will be running Thursday afternoons from 2:00-4:00, starting September 4. Please contact us at the church office (office@whitbyfmc.ca) if you would like more information.
